What is Mix-First Mastering?
Most mastering services focus on making your track louder and more polished. My process starts by identifying what's holding your mix back first. Deluxe projects include actionable mix feedback before mastering begins so we can address issues that mastering alone can't fix.
Do you offer a free preview?
Yes. First-time Deluxe clients receive a free 60–90 second mastering preview before committing. Standard Mastering is a traditional mastering service and does not include previews or mix feedback.
What files should I upload?
Upload your stereo mix at its native sample rate. WAV or AIFF files are preferred, and 32-bit float is ideal when available. Leave 4–6 dB of headroom and avoid heavy limiting on your master bus.
How long does the process take?
Typical turnaround is 2–3 business days. During busy periods, projects may take up to 7–10 business days. Expedited service is available if you're working toward a deadline.
How many revisions are included?
Deluxe Mastering includes up to 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions can be added if needed. Standard Mastering does not include revisions.
What if the preview isn't right for my track?
No problem. The Deluxe preview is offered so you can decide whether the approach is right for your project. There is no obligation to proceed.
Do you work with all genres?
Yes. The focus isn't on genre—it's on translation, balance, impact, and making your music sound its best across real-world playback systems.
Are my files safe and secure?
Yes. All files are handled securely and used only for your mastering project. Your material is never shared, distributed, or reused without your permission.
